AEW Dynamite, despite the triumphal Grand Slam night, suffered a slight decline in TV ratings.
The AEW was staged last night for the 2022 edition of Dynamite: Grand Slam, held in New York. Many twists: Chris Jericho became ROH World Champion, Jon Moxley is back AEW World Champion but most of all, Paige made her debut under the name of Saraya.
The data obtained, however, do not do justice to the company: not only there was no sold-out but a decline in television ratings was found. Here are the data from last night’s episode.
AEW Dynamite returns to the one million spectators for Grand Slam
AEW Dynamite averaged 1.04 million viewers with 0.35 in the 18-49 range.
That’s a drop from last week when flagship AEW show averaged 1.18 million viewers.
Will the AEW be able to improve the trend next week? We will see what happens, stay connected on The Shield Of Wrestling for all updates.
