WWE Day 1: The federation wants to change the show date

WWE Day 1, the Premium Live Event scheduled to take place on January 1st, could unexpectedly change the date.

The first historic edition of this new branded event was held on 1 January 2022 WWEwhich took place within the State Farm Arena from Atlanta, in Georgia. During the show there was only one title change: the WWE Championship passed from the hands of Big And to those of Brock Lesnar at the end of a Fatal Five Way Match which also saw the participation of Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley And Kevin Owens.

Despite the federation has announced Sunday 1 January 2023 for Day 1, important news on the show date may soon arrive.

A new date for WWE Day 1?

As reported by Dave Meltzer on the last Wrestling Observer Newsletterit seems that the company has thought of change the date of WWE Day 1.

In case an official decision is made the announcement will come no later than next week. The location of the show, the State Farm Arena, will obviously remain the same even in the event of a new date and even the name of the event should not change.
